  • The compactor or manual rod (Dhamoosa) should be heavy enough to compact the surface.

Don’ts:

  • Make sure the surface is uniform before compaction. Never start compaction on a non-uniform or unleveled surface.
  • Always ensure the compactor or manual rod (Dhamoosa) is used effectively. You should not blindly trust the contractor while rodding the surface.
  • Always ensure that the contractor is not rodding the surface just for formality.
  • Never start the compaction until all the vegetation is removed from the surface.
  • Avoid starting the process on the surface if there is too much water.
