Lahore: According to Chief Minister’s office, The Akbar Chowk Flyover Inaugurating is scheduled for August 14, 2023.

The interim chief minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has already ordered that the project be completed as soon as possible. The construction of the Akbar Chowk flyover will significantly impact many residents in Johar Town, Faisal Town, Model Town, and all other connecting areas.

Strict directives were given to secure the protection of all trees during the construction of the Akbar Chowk Flyover Inaugurating. Modern equipment will be purchased by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) for the secure transfer of trees.

Additionally, protected U-turns are being built at Madar-e-Millat, Model Town Link, and Akbar Chowk. Flyovers from Jinnah Hospital to PECO Morr will be constructed on both sides.
