Caretaker CM’s Commitment: Lahore’s Infrastructure on the Fast Track

The Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited and had a review of two important Infrastructure projects, the Khalid Butt Chowk Underpass and the Ghora Chowk Defence Mor Flyover. During this crucial visit, provincial Ministers Mansoor Qadir, Amir Mir, and Azfar Ali Nasir were with the CM.

The CM Punjab has shown his extraordinary commitment by regularly visiting the projects. He covered an impressive distance of 1.25 kilometers by walking from Cavalry Ground to Ghora Chowk. This level of involvement and continuous monitoring by the CM plays an important role in deciding the pace of projects.

Due to CM’s strict monitoring, 53 percent of the Khalid Butt Chowk underpass and 36 percent of the Ghora Chowk flyover projects have been completed. Notably, the Khalid Butt Chowk Underpass will soon be opened for traffic by the end of October. It is a significant milestone in the history of Lahore’s Infrastructure activities.

During the visit, CM issued orders to the contractor and CBD (Central Business District) authorities to expedite the smart construction techniques work. This commitment to timely, efficient development projects is a testament to Lahore’s dedication to progress and its promising future.
