To improve the accessibility for pilgrims who travel to Mazar Bibi Pak Daman, a new road from Lahore’s Empress Road is planned. Mohsin Naqvi, the caretaker chief minister of Punjab, recently reviewed the project’s ongoing development. During his visit, he examined the roadwork that connects Empress Road with Mazar Bibi Pak Daman.
Naqvi evaluated the space allotted for parking and kept an eye on the construction work being done. Additionally, he noted any structures impeding the development and ordered them to be removed immediately.
The road’s custodian, CM, expressed haste and gave the go-ahead for authorities to finish it as soon as possible. When completed, the 20-foot-wide route will provide pilgrims with quick access from the Empress route to Mazar. It will also provide extra room for parking cars. During the briefing, the Secretary of Works and Communication gave a thorough report on the project’s status.
During the inspection, representatives from multiple departments, such as Communication and Works, Lahore Development Authority, Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP), and administrative officers were in attendance. This demonstrated a cooperative effort towards the project’s successful execution.
