Islamabad: The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) has issued a fresh operational schedule for passport offices nationwide. The new timings are effective immediately till further notice.

Under the updated schedule, the DGI&P’s Islamabad office has extended the time., Now people can come to offices from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday. For a 30-minute lunch and prayer break, the staff will not work from 01:00 PM to 01:30 PM.

Furthermore, regional passport offices, executive passport offices, and service counters will be open from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, facilitating passport applications and collections.

This strategic shift in working hours is designed to enhance public convenience. It will also ensure the seamless delivery of passport-related services. Citizens are urged to take note of these adjusted timings to plan their visits accordingly and minimize disruptions.
