This dedicated team will continuously monitor the smog situation within the Lahore division. Each department will provide daily reports and presentations on their respective efforts to the Assistant Commissioner and the committee’s secretary. The relevant authorities will further evaluate it.

Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa has advocated for third-party verification of the anti-smog measures by environmental officers. He has issued a strict warning against any operating pyrolysis plant and emphasized the responsible use of water resources for anti-smog activities.

The commissioner has also highlighted the importance of stringent actions against violations and providing alternative machines to farmers for crop residue management. These collaborative and closely monitored anti-smog initiatives exemplify the city’s dedication to combat the challenges associated with smog effectively.
