LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and neighborhood police successfully reclaimed 75 kanals of excellent commercial land in lahore. It valued billions of rupees during a big day-long operation on Thursday morning. The targeted area was along PIA Road, close to Hakim Chowk, linking Johar Town’s D-Block.

The protests of the impacted people from the Samanzar Housing Scheme and surrounding regions brought fruit. On Wednesday, they went to the LDA’s one-window cell and spoke with Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi about their situation. They informed authorities that Mansha Bamm, a renowned land thief, was illegitimately occupying their properties.

The Chief Minister acted right away after hearing their heartbreaking experiences. He asked the Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) and other top officials. His instruction was clear: join the LDA teams in a coordinated action to quickly retake the illegally occupied land in lahore.

In addition, he mandated the detention of Mansha Bamm, who had detained the night before.

The police gathered at the LDA Complex at around three in the morning on Thursday, where they teamed up with LDA personnel headed by directors Ali Nusrat and Moazzam Rashid.

Heavy machinery was used in the operation, which got underway at about 4:30 in the morning, to remove illegally built structures, temporary encroachments, extended shadows, and ground floors from several plots along the Main PIA Housing Society Road next to the Samanzar Housing Scheme.
