To expedite the driving license process and handle the overwhelming number of applicants efficiently, the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore has taken a proactive step by establishing new testing camps at four strategic locations.

The recently appointed CTO, Amara Athar, has directed the setup of testing camps at prominent areas in the provincial capital. Jilani Park Parking, Fortress Stadium, Defense Phase 6 Head Office, and Gaddafi Stadium are the locations where testing camps have been set. This move aims to facilitate citizens and make the driving license testing process more accessible.

Individuals can now visit these newly established testing spots between 9 AM and 5 PM to undergo driving license tests. The addition of these testing camps is a strategic measure to streamline the entire process. It will efficiently handle the increasing number of applicants.

Notably, the provincial government has been actively implementing various initiatives to enhance public convenience throughout the license-making process. Recently, the Caretaker, CM Mohsin Naqvi, started an online facility. It allows citizens across the province to obtain their learner’s license by applying through their website. These continuous efforts reflect a commitment to improving and modernizing services for the benefit of the public.
