The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has started an extensive cleaning operation encompassing 40 roads throughout the city. This effort aims to combat air pollution and enhance the living conditions of residents. The operation involves daily cleaning and washing activities, which will improve the air quality of these areas.

The roads selected for this operation are strategically significant. It includes Ferozepur Road, Hali Road, Gulberg’s Main Boulevard, Noor Jahan Road, and The Mall. Additionally, there are other locations like Saggian Road, Taj Company Road, Shahdara Chowk, GT Road, Truck Adda, Lari Adda, Circular Road, Aik Moria Pul, Railway Station, Shalamar Bagh, Bhogiwal Road, Daroghawala, Salamatpura, Mominpura Bhini Road, Dharampura, Harbanspura, and Rehmanpura.

LWMC has deployed specialized teams for all these operations. These teams are actively working on roads, and the department is confident it will reduce the air quality index of all these areas.
