Several illegally constructed buildings in Lahore’s Jubilee Town, New Defence Road, and LDA Avenue-I housing scheme have been demolished. It happened in a significant operation by various Lahore Development Authority (LDA) teams.

The LDA has taken strict measures against illegal construction to maintain the city’s beauty and ensure public safety. Despite the LDA’s repeated warnings to avoid constructing illegal structures, some individuals continue to ignore the directives and carry out illegal construction activities.

Consequently, the LDA teams took action with heavy machinery and several teams to demolish these illegal structures. This achievement will help free up public spaces, remove encroachments and prevent further unlawful construction of the city.

Lahore Development Authority has also cautioned the public that strict action will be taken against those who violate the law. The LDA has urged the public to cooperate with the authority to maintain the city’s beauty and ensure citizens’ safety.

The authority has also advised individuals to obtain proper approval and follow the legal process before carrying out any construction activities in the city.
