Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa started a decisive operation against seven illegal land subdivisions and housing schemes on Wednesday.
Several housing societies, including Royal Smart City and Eagle Homes, have been under direct attack. Furthermore, the crackdown extended its reach to Rana Park and Zaheer Villas, proximate to College Road, along with the Vital Orchard Scheme situated on Jaya Baga Road.
During the operation, the LDA teams dismantled the sewerage systems, demarcation walls, offices, and thoroughfares associated with these unlawful schemes. This enforcement action resulted in sealing the unauthorized Dream Housing Scheme extension office, presently under construction, without due approval.
The operation was led by the Directorate of Private Housing Schemes at LDA, with the involvement of the LDA Enforcement Wing and law enforcement. This cohesive endeavor aligns seamlessly with the sustained commitment, as Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA guided, to confront illicit housing schemes and land subdivisions across the urban landscape resolutely.
