Mohsin Naqvi, the interim chief minister of Punjab, visited the Shahdara Flyover and Bedian Road Underpass Projects at the Nawaz Sharif Interchange in Lahore.
Chief Minister Naqvi extensively examined the development of both projects during his inspection and urged the staff to work more.
He expressed satisfaction with the developments in the Shahdara flyover project’s construction. He also instructed Gujranwala traffic to use alternate service roads for a smoother flow.
CM Mohsin Naqvi addressed the crowd and said. “The full-service road should be promptly leveled and reopened for traffic, with the police ensuring efficient traffic management.”
Naqvi later went to the subway being built at the Nawaz Sharif Interchange on Bedian Road. He demanded that the work be expedited.
The CM clarified that. “completing both projects will bring immense convenience to citizens and permanently resolve the traffic congestion issue.”
He also emphasized that the Shahdara flyover project’s prompt completion would greatly reduce traffic congestion at the city’s primary entry and exit points.
The Shahdara flyover project and roughly 40% of the Nawaz Sharif Interchange Bedian Road underpass project have already been finished, according to updates given by the Commissioner of Lahore and the Director General (DG) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
