Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa inspected multiple sports complexes currently under construction in Lahore, including those located in the China Scheme, Islamia Ground, and Minar-i-Pakistan.
While on his visit, he assessed the progress of the ongoing development work and instructed the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) team to open the sports complexes gradually, starting with three to four complexes in the initial phase. Randhawa emphasized the significance of completing the construction work of these sports complexes as soon as possible.
These sports complexes will provide a variety of facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, children’s play area, jogging track for both men and women, cafeteria, indoor sports, badminton, tennis court, snooker, and squash court.
Additionally, Randhawa lauded the quality of sports amenities and encouraged the LDA to accelerate their construction process to offer top-notch sports facilities to the general public.
