Ghulam Qadir, the commercial counsellor at the Pakistani embassy in Beijing, has invited leading Chinese businesses to look into creating industrial parks inside of Pakistan. The goal is to promote relocation and investment in industries focusing on labour-intensive, export-oriented industries.

While participating in the third Changsha International smart construction techniques, Qadir emphasised Pakistan’s desirable strategic location, alluring investment incentives, demographic dividend, and bright economic outlook. He spoke to a distinguished audience at the “2023 Belt and Road International Business Summit on Infrastructure and Construction Machinery.”

Qadir stated that Chinese corporations would gain major market access in the European Union and the United States by producing in Pakistan. They would also have the cooperation and facilitation of the Pakistani government. Since China is the world’s top manufacturer and exporter of construction and industrial machinery. Qadir emphasised the chance to turn Pakistan into the next major Chinese manufacturing centre.

In addition, Qadir requested advice on boosting the efficiency and allure of these industrial parks and economic zones from academics and industry specialists. He reaffirmed Pakistan and China’s shared leadership vision for fostering trade and investment cooperation. His goal is to increase investment in Pakistan significantly.

The Changsha International Convention & Exhibition Center and Changsha International Conference Center will host the Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition. It will take place from May 12 to May 15. “New generation of high-end, intelligent, and new-energy construction machinery” is the theme of the conference.

The event will feature 1,500 Chinese and foreign businesses over a 300,000-square-meter display space. It will also feature 35 of the top 50 construction machinery manufacturers in the globe. The show is expected to draw more than 300,000 guests and conduct business worth more than 50 billion yuan.

The expo will include six major events. Two competition exhibitions, about 20 professional forums, more than 100 trade discussions, and matchmaking.
