Lahore: The construction over the Shahdara Chowk Flyover has been started, so it has been closed to all public and heavy transport. Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has issued an alternative traffic plan.

LDA has instructed the traffic going towards Sialkot and Gujranwla to use Motorway-Ring Road. While vehicles going towards Sheikhupura can use Ring Road and Sagiyan Bypass. Local traffic can use Shahdara Distributor, Baraa-Dari and Kala Khatai roads.

Shahdara Chowk is the prime entrance to Lahore from where heavy traffic enters the city. The flyover will be extremely beneficial to all those who use this route routinely.
