On Saturday, Mohsin Naqvi, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, opened the new Police Service Center ‘Abshar’ at Shadman (Jail Road). He observed the facilities firsthand during his visit, which included going for a test drive in the driving simulator. Naqvi examined the public assistance counters and went about the Khidmat Markaz to see what services were offered to the common public.

He took an interest in the self-kiosk device, complimenting the ease with which residents can inquire about the facilities that are available. Naqvi also conveyed gratitude for the IG Police’s and his team’s efforts to ensure the Police Service Center had first-rate arrangements.

Naqvi noted the installation of two self-kiosk devices and underlined their importance in enabling people to obtain services on their own. Dr. Usman Anwar, the IG Police, informed the CM on the Khidmat Markaz’s functioning details.

Naqvi also went to the Race Course police station with representatives from the DIG Operations, Secretary Health, CCPO Lahore, and CTO. He examined the newly renovated spaces, including meeting rooms, police officer and staff offices, and the DIG Security Division’s new office.

Naqvi noted the improvements made to the Security Division’s infrastructure and praised the quality of the work. The Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) Chairman, Dr. Farqat Alamgir, was present during the visit, as were other police officers.
